Building Your First Adventure

Start From Scratch or a Template

A blank Adventure gives you a clean Journey Map to design from zero. Starting from a template pre-populates milestones, steps, and rewards you can edit rather than build from nothing — useful if you're repeating a similar program (see Adventure Templates & Scaling Cohorts for how this really pays off at scale).

Add Milestones to the Journey Map

Place nodes on the map and decide what each one is: a Milestone if you're giving players knowledge, or a Challenge if you're testing it (see Completing Milestones & Steps for what each means from the player's side). Group related nodes under a Tabi if you want a chaptered structure with its own unlock gate.

Configure Step Types

Inside each milestone, build out the Steps players will actually work through — dialogue, open text, multiple-choice, puzzles, SCORM packages, and more. Steps run in order, and each can carry its own reward independent of the milestone's overall reward.

Set Rewards & Unlock Rules

Decide what a milestone pays out in XP, BLOO, and (optionally) items or achievements, then set what has to be true for it to unlock — a minimum level, a prerequisite milestone, an item in the player's Backpack, or a start date.

Publish the Adventure

Once you're happy with the map, publish it and move on to enrolling players.
