The Four Roles
- Player — the default. Progresses through the Journey Map like any participant.
- GM (Game Master) — a facilitator. Can grant achievements manually, unblock milestones, and monitor progress without full admin access.
- Admin — full edit access to the Adventure: milestones, steps, rewards, settings.
- NPC — a non-player role, used for characters or accounts that appear in the story but don't progress themselves.
Bulk-Enrolling Players
Rather than adding people one at a time, bulk-enroll a list of players into an Adventure — ideal for a new-hire cohort or a training class starting all at once. Assign a default role and, if you're using them, a starting Guild for the whole batch.
Managing Access
Roles can be changed after enrollment — promote a player to GM if they end up helping facilitate, or adjust access as your team changes. Removing someone from an Adventure doesn't delete their historical progress.
