Step-by-step — see Challenges — Concept if you haven't decided whether you want a Challenge or a Milestone, and How to Build a Milestone for the other route.
- Create a new Challenge and give it a name, colour, icon and main image, then save it — the question builder opens once it exists.
- Write your question bank. Each question needs its answer options, with the correct one (or ones) marked, and can carry an image.
- Set how many questions to show per attempt, and how many correct answers count as a pass.
- Optionally set a time limit for the whole attempt.
- Set the number of free attempts, then a BLOO cost for any attempt beyond that.
- Set the unlock requirements and the XP/BLOO reward for passing, then publish.
- Place it on the Journey Map — into a Tabi, or positioned directly in the Journey Builder.
Sizing the Question Bank
Write more questions than you show. A bank of fifteen with five shown per attempt means a retry is a genuinely different test, which is what makes limited retries fair rather than a memory exercise.
