Connecting Your Claude API Key
Open your Adventure's A.I. Content Validation tab. If your plan includes this feature, you'll see a password-masked field for your Claude API key:
- Go to
console.anthropic.comand sign in (or create an account). - Navigate to Settings → API Keys.
- Create a new key and copy it — you won't be able to see it again after you leave that page, so copy it immediately.
- Paste it into the Claude API Key field in your Adventure settings and save.
Once connected, open-text steps can be validated automatically — typically well under a cent per validation, so cost isn't a real concern even at scale. Leaving the field blank on a re-save keeps your existing key rather than clearing it, so you don't need to re-enter it every time you touch other settings on the same tab.
Setting Up Gift Card Rewards (Tremendous)
If your plan includes it, the Tremendous tab lets you connect a Tremendous.com account so Item Shop purchases can trigger a real, emailed gift card instead of just an in-Adventure item:
- Paste your Tremendous API key into the field provided, then use "Test Connection" to confirm it's valid before going further.
- Choose Sandbox mode while you're testing — it behaves identically but doesn't send real money or real gift cards. Switch to Production only when you're ready to reward players for real.
- Set your currency (EUR/USD/GBP), funding source, and optionally a Campaign ID if Tremendous requires one for your account.
Every gift-card send is logged with its status (sent, pending, failed, duplicate blocked), so you can always audit what actually went out.
